Steven Alexander specializes in residential construction, which includes custom homes, ADU's, remodels, additions, and multi-family buildings.
We also provide services for industrial, commercial buildings, and restaurants.
Here is a list of typical services that we provide from start to finish. Some services are optional.

INITIAL CONSULTATION
We meet at the site to understand your goals, budget, and timeline. This is where we discuss ideas, needs, and possibilities. We'll answer questions you may have early on in the process.

SITE ANALYSIS
A quick look at your property or existing building to understand opportunities, limitations, and any code or zoning rules that apply.

SCHEMATIC DESIGN
Early sketches and ideas that show what the project could look like. Typically this includes several different design options to choose from.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Taking the chosen idea and refining it—final room layouts, structural, mechanical, electrical systems, and coordinating with consultants.

PERMIT DRAWINGS
Preparing the technical drawings the city/county requires to issue a building permit. This includes floor plans, elevations, building sections, and other drawings illustrating code compliance.

PERMIT COORDINATION / AGENCY APPROVAL
Submitting the drawings to the city/county and helping coordinate the review and approval process.

CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
More detailed plans for the contractor—showing construction details, finishes, and technical requirements for construction.

BIDDING / CONTRACTOR SELECTION (optional)
Facilitating the bidding process, by requesting estimates from builders, reviewing proposals, and selection of the right contractor.

CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
Regular site visits during construction, making sure that the project is being built according to the design intent. This also includes responding to requests for information (RFI's) reviewing product submittals.
